Dietrack Pro includes Ideas, fridge and receipt photo scanning, meal-photo logging, and Nia chat. Nia can use your kitchen, goals, and logs as context. Logging or adding items from chat stays off until you turn writes on.

Is there a free trial of Dietrack Pro?

Yes. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial of Dietrack Pro. You start it in the app the first time you tap a Pro feature. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.

Does the trial apply to both monthly and yearly?

Yes. Both plans use the same 7-day trial. It is one-time per account. Switching plans later does not start a second trial.

What happens at the end of the trial?

On day 8 the App Store or Google Play charges the plan you picked (€7.99/month or €69.99/year) and Pro stays active. Cancel before then in your store account and you will not be charged. The account stays on Free, with your data intact.

How do I cancel?

Cancel in the App Store on iOS, or Google Play on Android. On iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Dietrack. On Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Dietrack. You keep Pro until the current billing period ends.

What happens if I cancel or downgrade?

Nothing in your account is deleted. You keep your kitchen, shopping list, meal log, and calorie and macro history. Ideas, photo scans, and Nia stop until you subscribe again.

Do I lose my data if I stop paying?

No. Your data stays in the account on Free or Pro. You can export it at any time.

Why is AI not included in the free tier?

Each Ideas or scan request calls a model that costs money. Kitchen, list, and manual logging do not. Pro pays for the model calls. Free stays free.

Does the price include VAT?

Headline prices (€7.99/month, €69.99/year) are set in EUR. The App Store and Google Play add local tax and currency conversion at checkout, so the total on the purchase screen can differ by country.

Is there a student or non-profit discount?

Not yet. If you teach nutrition, run a non-profit kitchen, or are a registered dietitian and want Dietrack for people you work with, email support. A discount programme does not exist until that conversation happens.

If a future price change happens, anyone already on a plan keeps their original price while the subscription stays active and uninterrupted. Changes would be announced ahead of time.
